slash64.io is an IP address lookup tool. Its entire purpose is to show you what information your internet connection exposes to the websites you visit. We collect the minimum data necessary to run the live counters and globe — nothing that can identify you personally.
When your browser connects to slash64.io, Cloudflare's network (which powers this site) automatically provides the following — the same information any website receives:

City-level geolocation is approximate — it reflects where your ISP registered the IP address, which may differ from your physical location by tens or hundreds of miles.
We store only what is necessary to power the v4 vs v6 race counters. Specifically:
The hash is a one-way cryptographic function — it cannot be reversed to recover your IP address. The salt rotates daily, so hashes from different days cannot be linked together. This means we can count unique visitors within a day without storing or identifying who they are.
The globe and live feed show recent visitor activity — city, country, ISP, and IP version. Your visit may appear in the feed. The location shown is the coarse jittered location described above, not your precise location. No IP addresses are ever displayed in the feed.
Feed data is held in memory only and is not written to any persistent database. It resets periodically.

We use affiliate links for VPN providers. If you click a link and make a purchase, we receive a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are clearly labeled. We do not share any data with affiliate partners — the link click itself may be tracked by the affiliate program per their own privacy policy.
slash64.io runs entirely on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare acts as an intermediary between you and our servers and processes request data per their own privacy policy. Cloudflare may retain logs of requests per their standard practices. We do not control Cloudflare's data retention.
slash64.io is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
